Florencia Estate
The source of our specialty coffee is a single Estate. Florencia is located in Córdoba, Quindío, a small town in Colombian Central Montain Range, rising from 1560 meters above sea level until a top 1820masl.
The particular climate and soil conditions in the subregion where our estate is located provides our coffes with an unique profile. Even our traditional beans, sucha as Cenicafé 1® and Castillo® rate well in cuppings obtaining 85+ SCA points.

Cultivars
In Florencia we grow more than 7 different cultivars, 5 of which are exotic such as Red and Yellow Typica, Yellow Gesha, Pink Bourbon and Tabi.
Each of these cultivars are independently sown in differents fields to guarantee that each of them is harvested individually and in their own time.
This allows us to process them individually in order to get the best out of every coffee batch in a consistent way.

Corazon field
Even thought each of our cultivars is sown in individual fields, there is one exception to this rule. The Corazon Field located in the center of our Estate has an unique story that explains the very begining of our journey in the Specialty Coffee World.
In an attempt to try new things, Carlos Quiroga, our proyect pioneer, sowed a bunch of different cultivars seeking for a rare coffee profile. Today we can appreciate the results of this risky bet in an extraordinary coffee with a high complexity profile and very sweet notes.
